Certainly for the six-o-clock news the accurate recording is bang on. It records every day of the week and I haven’t encountered any issues – Sutton Coldfield

I have set a recording on FVP-5000T (Lark Stoke transmitter) for 1pm news on channel 1 on FVP-5000T and on HDR-1000S 101. Will post outcome later.

Should not be a problem, no longer have a HB 1000S connected but works with a HB 1100S (same software)
When you swap HDD you may have to assign it for recording again to watch previous recordings.

I only set one and got both – can you have a look at the CRIDS for next Sundays SD and HD to see if it was a twin tuner box you would have got both ?

Series and Programme Crids are exactly the same so only one timer is scheduled.

I have recently purchased a Humax FVP 5000T Feeview Box. I am generally happy with its performance and function, however it is surprisingly noisy. It emits a whirring sound much of the time and the occasional tickety tick tick sound, which sounds like the hard drive is working overtime. This has caused us to position the box on the carpeted floor to try to dampen the noise. I am considering returning the box for a refund or replacement. Is this normal? or have we got a faulty device? Any advice appreciated.

My FVP 5000T is less then 2 metres from me and I cannot hear anything.
Suggest you return for replacement.
