In addition to what Martin has advised, is your password upper and lower case, if so it has to be exactly the same.

Remotes are not really designed to be opened up once ‘snapped’ together, however a user managed it and posted this on DS:

ModeratorNot a programme I watch/record…but there certainly appears to be a problem with ITV HD Granada – glitches in video and audio (this unit has Manchester postcode)
Edit: So checked other unit ITV HD London (South West postode) and appears to be fine.

ModeratorNot posting exact figure but it is over 5 minutes for full EPG to be broadcast.

Can you please state which model of PVR you are commenting on, and how it is connected to TV ie HDMI/Scart etc.

ModeratorIt is the previous/next │<< >>│keys that jump 5 minutes I believe, the FF/RWD have no effect. Also the pause key works, along with play and stop – that is about it.

That would appear to confirm it was an ITV problem, and not freesat or box issues.

Not alone.
Read that earlier, appears they have picked up on my regions comment.
Just retuned my V13 unit to Granada, and currently have sound via HDMI to Sony TV.
Will set up a few timers.

Not working for me either, different error code though.
Edit: No sooner I post that and it starts working!!
Barry
ModeratorJust checked my recording and it is fine – ITV HD London for my region/postcode.

ModeratorNot programmes I record, but your suggestion to re-schedule them would be my first port of call.

1. You would be able to copy content to an ext HDD but not record directly to it.
If you wanted to copy files over 4GB in size the ext HDD would have to formatted as ext3.
2. I think there is a minimum size of pendrive/HDD that the HDR can format, around 120GB min iirc.

Contact the broadcaster concerned, in this instance of course the BBC.
