I think it said changed as the hidden flag got set and it it now 1979. Any idea what the hidden 1977 ITV PLAYER B is for?
Thanks for that.
No idea re ITV PLAYER B

ModeratorStrange it was a ‘changed’ message, when I get chance I’ll check to be sure nothing else has changed, but busy with another platform at the mo 😉
Edit: No other changes.

ModeratorJust had the pop up on V13 unit…
1 channel changed, but it has actually removed 0979 Freesat4
Barry
ModeratorCannot help with the problem as the last time I had a reboot was eons ago, however as a matter on interest have you uploaded the latest beta software version 1.00.20

ModeratorWelcome to the Forum

Following the link that is provided in the txt file that accompanies the software update zip:
Para 4 quite clearly states:
Place the product into standby mode…
So I do not understand your problem.

Moderator1. Did you have 2 LNB feeds to the unit when you set it up?
Are they connected to the correct inputs – should be the outer two sockets on the rear of the unit.
2. As for cropping etc you have to remember the unit is built to a freesat specification, if you think that certain facilities are missing then contact them.

ModeratorThis is probably a mistake, and you should notice it on V17/V20 units as well, it appears as the last channel in the list.
Channel added:
Chan 0979 – Freesat4 11427 H
Appears to be itvplayer – still the same shocking quality!

ModeratorBumping this one as a reminder to all.
Barry
ModeratorThat is good news, keep us updated.

Not had an instance of this myself, and cannot remember it being reported before, but I stand to be corrected.
Has digital switchover been completed in the area where the unit is located?
Barry
ModeratorDepending on whether it was bought new, and not a graded product from Humax Direct it may still be under warranty.
If you do not hear back from Humax soon then let us know.

May not be good news unfortunately, This normally happens when no Hard Disc Drive is detected.
Has the unit been moved recently, it may be a loose connection on the HDD.
If not how long has you Mum had the unit?
Barry
ModeratorWith reference to virii, your router should be behind a firewall anyway, and one would think that Humax have protection on the portal,
If you already have a picassa account then you should be able to use those details. However you might like to note the details in this thread:

ModeratorUpdate – more reuslts have been found for the current search term or video title you are playing.
Highlight Related with the cursor control and press OK. You should then note a change to the videos listed down the right hand side.
Barry
ModeratorBBC iplayer via Red button and chan 901, ITV Player via chan 903 both working ok for me.
Anyone else having issues?
