    1. Have moved your last post to continue in this thread rather then the NTFS one you posted it to.

    2. Software version is old, try and update to the latest publically released see the last item on following link:

    http://beta.humaxonline.co.uk/freeview-hd-t2

Version 1.02.32 is the software. Instructions on how to update are included in the file downloaded from that ink.

a7.30 is the loader version, not software version which is listed in same menu.

Whilst connected via HDMI have you tried different output resolutions (vformat button on remote)

Menu items greyed out usually associated with a recording in progress/due within 15 minutes or playback of a timer, so check and try again.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

Your message is a tad confusing (no disrepect intended) as you mention switching the TV to HD channel…. so in an effort to help can you provide the following:

    1. How is the Humax box connected to the TV eg HDMI, Scart.

    2. Brand of TV Humax box is connected to.

I alerted Humax Towers as soon as posts started to appear about failures on BBC 4 HD, and have followed up with the latest info since.

No you do not have to pair, you can use the app straight from the on demand menu.

Thread title amended to reflect discussions.

Something very strange for sure as CBBC HD timers appear to be recording without issue.

I am using a later firmware, and receive from Caradon Hill.

I can understand the comment from Luke re ‘What makes you think that the message is being displayed by the Humax and not the TV’

Are you sure the TV is selecting the correct scart input, if it has more then one.

    and

You do not have to send anything back in ‘brown paper’ – If you contact Humax by telephone they will try and assist, and if necessary arrange a swap out on your doorstep.
