Inactivejust bought the 2000t installed ok channel scan ok
after a week i found picture break up on the standard def channels only.
hd channels are fine.
appears to be very low signal strength i have re-tuned and manual tuned the unit as well.
is there anything else i can do is the unit faulty??
tv signal is fine at 100%
thanks.

So what are the signal strengths on the problem channels and on HD?

Inactivei think about 40%
its a new unit so still getting used to all the settings etc.
there is a strength and quality gauge not sure whats more important in the lower left when info is pressed both have 1 bar
hd channels are ok in terms of no brake-up and work ok its the sd channels which are not so good
iv’e done and auto tune without the aerial then retuned again finding all channels.
after a manual tune and playing around picture breakup has not happened tonight but its the weak signal that i am worried about.
could it be a faulty unit??

ModeratorWelcome to the Forum

Whilst I appreciate you have stated that you have tried a manual tune, try reading this post re how to tune manually:

InactiveHello
Further investigation did a full reset and manual scan ,was scanning incorrectly for the had channels not selected dvt-2 ?? Which picked all the hd channels
All channels have %100 strength and %40 quality I thinks that’s the right way round.
Didn’t get any break up last night so I think it’s ok
Hadn’t done a manual scan before so I know what I’m doing now
Thanks for the help will monitor things over Xmas time.

No that is probably the wrong way round. 100% quality is almost essential for satisfactory viewing. I would regard 40% as an acceptable signal strength but without much margin of safety.
