Does it depend on the programme name length?
If it will fit the display – no scrolling, if it won’t – scrolling.
Ah, now I understand. Thank you Barry. Having said that, ‘Sky News’ fits in, but that scrolls as well.
David
If the programme is just called Sky News it does not scroll on mine however if it is Sky News with…., then it will probably scroll (have not tested that one)

To schedule a recording from the guide, highlight programme name, press OK, if part of a series you will be offered the option to record all episodes.
To instant record whilst watching live TV, press rec, once recording has started press record again to change the duration of the instant timer by selecting options presented in on screen message or manually by pressing left/right arrows.
Note once a recording starts it takes little while, approx. 30 secs before it appears in media.

ModeratorIf you highlight family and press OK you will get on screen a ‘manage app account’ which explains all.
There is not much point in doing this presently as no UK Humax boxes are currently supported anyway.

ModeratorI do not think the TV is forgetting settings, it is changing them per input.
No idea how old your is but I can state that on the 2012 Sony I had you could set user settings per input as James has already allied to.
EG set up preferences for HDMI input 1, and when changing to HDMI input 2 it would default to factory setting until I set it up for that input and so on…..

Digital Audio Out – change to stereo if set at Multi channel see if that helps.
As for the HD recording failure, need more info – which channel, programme, and are you sure you the unit has only tuned into one transmitter.
