Hi, new here, I’ve been reading an earlier post about the no sound problem, has anyone managed to fix it as it is happening to me with a two day old 2000T. The only way to get it back seems to be a reboot of the machine. It’s connected to a Panasonic by HDMI cable so I’ll try a Scart later to see if that makes any difference. It’s very annoying as it also failed to record a HD prog, as I say it’s new to me and I’ve never had a Humax before so it could be user cock up, but it was recommended so I’m a tad disappointed. Any help gratefully accepted.

Check audio output setting:
Menu
Settings
Preferences
Audio
Digital Audio Out – change to stereo if set at Multi channel see if that helps.
As for the HD recording failure, need more info – which channel, programme, and are you sure you the unit has only tuned into one transmitter.
Sorted the sound issue I think by taking out the HDMI and using SCART, seems to have worked. I’ll try the HD recording again as everything else seems to record OK.
