Remotes will be ok, no conflict.
I believe in later version of firmware Youview/Humax fixed the issue whereby you could not view HDMI and Scart at same time, so your plans for second TV should be OK.

I would start with a factory reset, then…
Para 2 can be an indication that you are receiving signals from more then one transmitter, do you have any channels listed in the 800 range – if so carry out a manual tune see Link for details on how to successfully achieve this.
Pop up – 1 removed channel (probably happened Friday afternoon, last boot of unit was around midday Friday)

1. The portal is now actually working albeit not fully.
2. It is the BBC who have moved the goal posts re iplayer not Humax.
I made it quite plain in post # 50 that Humax intend to look at engineering a fix, resources permitting, but it would take time, since confirmed by other members.

Still no luck here. Very frustrated as I bought a Humax 1000s just over a month ago precisely so I could watch catch up/ on demand services. As yet I haven’t been able to watch any. I am considering asking for a refund or replacement for a box which works.
