Yes, there are several “800” channels.
Try a manual tune using these instructions Manual tuning FAQ

Have you got channels in the 800’s ?
I think after todays retune that should read “got any channels in the 1000s”; certainly that was where a duplicate was placed when I experimented with an automatic tune before doing a manual tune.

ParticipantWhat make and model of TV? Is there a button on the TV remote to select the input (on our Panasonic it is labelled “AV”)?

ParticipantI would try a manual tune see Manual tune FAQ

Ah, advert skip buttons eh. A quick bit of Googling finds an online manual – that would be the “Commercial skip” button then I suppose. I have always wondered what the buttons under the slidy-flap thingy do, now at least I know what one of them does.
There is a wealth of functionality in the buttons under the flap; you might consider permanently removing the flap and reading more of the manual. The other thing to be aware is that the size of the forward and backward skip is configurable. We use 1 minute forward and 15 seconds backward; other people find different values work for them.

I cannot access the media section of my FOX T2.
It has 1tb total storage and has only used 600mb. I know there is available space.
That does sound like a disk problem but it is possible that it is a file system problem rather than a physical failure which you might be able to resolve with the tools provided by the custom firmware.
I have also noticed the very small word “FULL” on the actual box display.
Nothing to do with disk storage; it refers to the screen resolution (Full Resolution).

ParticipantI don’t have a suggestion on your fast forward question but I think most people use the advert skip buttons instead of fast forwarding; much more convenient for us. The Update date is the date the software was released not the date you applied it.

The internet is connected and everything else is fine, but the website will not work. It gives me a list of collected errors:
Cannot create directory. Read-only file system.
Failed to download [file], wget returned 1.
Failed to open dir : No such file or directory.
Error retrieving package list from the internet. Please check your connection and try again.
You really should, in this specific instance, go over to hummy.tv and ask for help in the custom firmware forum where the experts reside.

ParticipantYou seem to have done the right things. What software and loader version is the Humax currently using; also what is the System ID? Do you have an aerial amplifier powered by the Humax?

Sorry to sound a bit dumb, but how would I go about doing that?
You need to do some reading at Custom firmware wiki

ParticipantI agree with Biggles suggestion to do a manual tune but can I ask what software version the 9300 is running?

No it doesn’t ping. and it doesn’t appear as connected on the home network map in the homehub either. Hmm.
it goes from my hub via a comtrend power line adaptor. that is set to 192.168.1.65 BTW. Is there any clue there?
You need to be able to ping it before going any further. The powerline adapters I am familiar with don’t have an IP address. Have you tested the powerline adapters eg by using them to connect a PC to the Internet?

ParticipantYour only alternative to a format is to install the custom firmware which will allow you to delete any files and also perform a file system integrity check (fsck) which sounds very advisable to me.

My pvr-9300t has stopped working no pic just showing on the screen of the recorder PVR-9300T
How is the Humax connected to the TV (SCART or HDMI)?

I set my home hub to a fixed address for the Humax of 192.168.1.71 and in LAN settings made the IP address the same. netmask 255.255.255 and the gateway and DNS same as the home hub on 192.168.1.254
Sounds plausible. Can you ping the Humax from a PC on the network?
