    Hi,

I followed the instructions on Humax’s and this website to do the software update when the update was on air. It came on air at 10am this morning (as far as I know), but the box will not update. It was left on standby overnight, with automatic updates turned on in the settings.

I have turned the box off for 30 secs, done the default setting reset, and manually searched for the update. The box finds it, but when I click to start it, it keeps coming up with ‘Error E-HW’. The instructions I followed on Humax’s website were to get around this particular error, yet it did not work and there are no further instructions.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

You seem to have done the right things. What software and loader version is the Humax currently using; also what is the System ID? Do you have an aerial amplifier powered by the Humax?

I’m having the same problem on my 9300T. I checked that the OTA update should be available from 1000 today.

Since that time I’ve attempted several manual searches on Channel 45 (freq 666000) withthe tuner set to BBC1. I have 76% signal strength and 100% quality indicated but keep getting no software found.

    Also tried the other channels I use (Bucks and Berks area so I tune to (BBCA – Ch 45 / D3 & 4 – ch 42 / SDN – ch 39 / ARQ A – ch 44/ ARQ B – ch47) but nothing there either.

I don’t have an amplifier powered by the Humax.

My current software is Rev 1.0 UPTTF 1.00.26 wand the update date is Jul 7 2011.

Any idea what I’m not doing correctly?

OK, many thanks for that – I was expecting 2012 date stamp. Very much a Humax basic user.
