I’ve got exactly the same issue. I’ve tried a new HDD and nothing… it worked fine prior to the firmware update. I’ve contacted support today asking for a link to download an older firmware to try on my devices, but no reply yet. (they promised to email me a link)
Welcome to our Forum

If no joy with support then PM me and I’ll provide a link to version 3.00.44, however I do not think this will help in solving your issue.

ModeratorChan 86 is carried on the Com 8 HD mux, only transmitted in a few areas, and of course 9300 is an SD recorder.

ModeratorNews and Sport also appear to be working – checked on 1800 and 2000T

I am experiencing this problem as well on my 1800T. First noticed it on Friday 14th and still having it now. Also BBC news will not run features, did not try BBC Sport. YouTube is fine.
Thanks, sport app also not working correctly, indeed on occasions just accessing the portal has caused a reboot on my 1800T.
Will collate all reports and pass onto Humax Towers tomorrow morning.

Thanks Barry. Seems outrageous that a problem on their side that has left me with no recording facility will make me £55 out of pocket. I’ve contacted them and await their response. No way I’m shelling out a penny for this.
Your call, don’t shoot the messenger.
Good luck with getting a different offer from support.

This HDR which is for a second TV is connected to the router for a TV in another room and thus Virgin cable by a Humax supplied dongle. It’s worked fine up until now. But although I can get YouTube. Every programme on i>Player I try to access says “not available at this moment try later.”
I have no problems watching or recording programmes on it.
Post moved to active thread (was originally in welcome)
As you can see from above there appears to be a problem with the 1800/2000T and iplayer. As stated I’ll highlight to Humax Tower tomorrow.

My HDR1000s installed this software and now all my recordings are lost and the space is less than 1% and also now I can’t record anything whether in the future or present. I tried powering off/on at plug and still the same. Tried a factory reset and it installed the 3.00.77 again during this reset so it’s still the same. I did another reset this time without connecting to the net and it stayed as the factory default software this time but it still does not allow me to record. It ran fine up until this update at the end of June. Any suggestions?
Stand to be corrected but the latest update is coincidental to your problem.
A small number of units have had a hardware problem whereby the HDD is not detected on boot up.
In warranty units will be exchanged free of charge, out of warranty units Humax are offering an exchange for a charge of £55.00
Contact Humax Support for further guidance.

Just went back to the forum and now the download worked. Do the downloads only work if you are a member/signed in?
Yes you have to be signed in.

I guess it’s just badly implemented then?
What is interesting though, Barry, is that other people have commented and said their’s is smooth.
I don’t see any jerkiness in your video, all my units display similar and I certainly would not call that jerky.
Barry
ModeratorFrom viewiing the video I don’t see what the problem is to be honest, and I have every Humax freesat unit.

Problem has been reported before recent software update.
Cause is under investigation by Humax engineering team.
