ModeratorYep if you change postcode to an English region it will work.
Tip – You only need to input first part of postcode eg TW8 for London

ModeratorWelcome to the Forum

A factory reset would be the first thing to try.

I have the same problem, BBCi player works fine, Postcode is KY13
Believe that to be Scotland – if so, then itv player not available I’m afraid.
Barry
ModeratorIt is not an update file as such, just puely a reset file, should have no adverse effects.

ModeratorCheck that Martin, it appears to be taking an absolute age to copy off a 45 minute HD recording. No idea re GPT or MBR.
Edit: OK it has copied off the HD recording, but it took an age, will try again and time it.
Edit 2: 18 minutes to copy 45 min HD recording to 3TB ext HDD.

ModeratorA factory reset will not delete recordings.

ModeratorI have been using a 3TB WD Elements HDD since Oct see: Link – soon to be disconnected to test other stuff.
Currently reported as 42% space used, and no problems encountered.
Go to System settings, highlight storage, is anything listed?
Barry
ModeratorA known problem, try using stop instead of back button.

ModeratorJust to add my experience.
Had a 1010S since they were first available.
Just after boot a message appears to confirm Wifi connected never had a disconnect.

Chan 144 – PICK TV now just PICK
(that is all I can spot with a quick glance anyway)

ModeratorIf unit not already on, it boots to an ‘active standby’ state – for all intents and purposes it is on, but the video/audio output is disabled, and timers are actioned.
If on and recording, at 3 hour point it would shut down to this sctive standby state, and then full standby once timer has completed.
