Thanks Barry. What software version is your HB-1000S running?
Software version – UKSFAC 1.00.05
Barry
ModeratorOh dear, not sure whether to post this or not.
Samsung D3 3TB arrived, connected to PC first just to check properties as picture (note space taken is Samsung bloatware)
Then connected to HB1000S, using cable/psu as provided in box, check in system settings, storage and D3 Station is listed, highlight, press ok and get 3 options one of which is ‘Use this hard drive for recordings’ – highlight same and press ok, confirm and voila.
Two test recordings, one SD channel one HD channel worked.

ModeratorI should have a Samsung D3 3TB arriving today, more when I have it.

ModeratorWelcome to the Forum

Basically it is plug and play (although some would dispute this)
You need to know your network name and password.
I would plug dongle in before you appply power then the network set up becomes part of the installation.
The unit will scan for available networks, highlight yours and input password.

I have just had feedback from Humax ref RGB problem. I still use a CRT TV with Scart & reported the problem to them + also sent them a DVD video showiing the problem a few weeks ago. Well, today, their technical team/customer service dept have agreed that their is an issue. It was suggested that I simply switched box off for 1min 30 sec & all would be ok

This is the youview section, believe you are describing and issue with freesat G2 unit.
Barry
ModeratorHaving access to all the units concerned:
1. Graham is correct you cannot export recordings on Youview box.
2. I echo Martins assessment of the Youview product. If exporting to ext HDD is important to you, then take back and exchange it, however note the following re the 2000T
a. Has no front display if that is important
b. Currently no RF loop thru’
The only area in which the Youview box is better is in having all the on demand players.

1. Did you mean HDR T2?
2. Argos have the label correct, it is the picture of the unit that is wrong.
The HDR 2000T is the replacemant for the HDR T2, and to answer your question, yes you can record 2 and watch a recording at the same time.
Admin note: I’ll move thread to correct are shortly

ModeratorAfter a couple of Days of trying I can finally replicate the live pause issue on V59 – why now and not before??
Barry
ModeratorQuote:I’ve recieved an update from Humax this morningPossibly because I have been discussing this with them this morning, as I have had no luck replicating.
