hi all new to your forum need a bit of info like the rest of us.
just bought a hrd 1000s gunna set it up this saturday but have bought a dongle to go with it to connect to the internet.
the thing is do you just plug it in and away you go or do you have to mess about with the settings?
the dongle is a humax one.

Welcome to the Forum
Basically it is plug and play (although some would dispute this)
You need to know your network name and password.
I would plug dongle in before you appply power then the network set up becomes part of the installation.
The unit will scan for available networks, highlight yours and input password.
thanks dongle came today with installation guide just one thing
is the router WEP key / password’ the number on the bottom of the router ?
