How was the unit connected to tv?
If HDMI then try using a scart cable and see if the set up process is displayed again and continues. After language the next item in the set up process is display.

The BT-badged G4 boxes that BT distributes to its customers always seem to be 2110, while the retail BT-badged G4 boxes always seem to be 2100, just on the basis of random observation.
The 2110 I had access to earlier was a retail purchase, so may be other way round James, in fact the OP’s is a 2100 so probably is.

Remember to keep the down arrow pressed until you see the message enter ‘enter maintence mode Y/N’
T2110 I used to try and find maintenance mode is 500GB (not mine a relatives)
All I can say re tuner message is it is definitely generated by TV, never seen it on all other TV’s I have.

ModeratorHow to enter maintenance mode on a DTR T2110 unit…
Switch off using switch at rear of unit.
Press and hold the down arrow on central control top of unit whilst powering back on using rear switch, wait for maintenance mode prompt to appear and then press power button on top of unit to enter mode. use up down arrow to select which reset you want to perform.
BTW the tuner 1 message you referred to earlier is an onscreen message from the Sony TV not the youview unit (I used to have a Sony but not now)

Update – installed apk and Beam finds HDR 2000T ok but will not play even SD video, states I need the premium beam package at a cost of £4.99, and I aint about to do that I’m afraid.
However I can tell you the Humax media player app will stream SD content from a HDR 2000T to a suitable media player such as mx player – only tried on an android device.

ModeratorWell that is strange does not appear on ipad mini or iphone 5 I have just purloined to check?
Does not appear in google play store for the android devices I have, all running android version 4.2.2 or later.
Anyone else can check please.
In the meantime I’ll try downloading the apk and install.

I receive from the same transmitter, and have not witnessed any issues with BBC 1 HD – there is engineering work this week on Caradon Hill – Possible service interruptions according to:

A reset would be a good start, and ensure you are only receiving from that transmitter.

A quick press of the right/left arrow on central control will display timebar again. Keep pressing right/left to scroll quickly through recording.
