My FVP-4000T box was working ok in the morning. Now, in the evening I just keep getting “No Signal” on my TV av channel. No changes where made to the box,TV or cables to cause this.
Is the Humax showing normal signs of life; LEDs illuminated, hard drive making a whirring noise etc? What make and model of TV?

I have an internet speed of 1GB and only seem to get 100mbps using an ethernet connection direct to the box.
however im getting more Via wifi.
is there a way of increasing the ethernet speed ?
The Aura manual doesn’t say anything about the speed of the ethernet port but the Humax website does say it is a Gigabit port. I take it your ethernet connection is a direct wired connection to the router? How are you measuring the speed?

I’m receiving BBC south region.
Looking at the list you provided, every channel that is missing is a H with the only exception being ITV+1 which I have and is a H.
I am by no means a satellite expert but my guess is that the LNB is faulty. I believe it is pretty straightforward to replace if you can access the dish.

The above unit is missing a number of channels. Seems to be no logic to which ones (example ch4 is missing but Ch4 HD is present. BBC1 is ok but BBC4 not there). If
It would help I can post a full list of channels missing.
More details would help. BBC1 is regional which region are you receiving? Have a look at https://en.satexpat.com/tv/uk/freesat/ and see if there is any pattern to the missing channels. Are you getting both Horizontal and Vertical polarised channels (the H and V in column 3)?

Sorry. Typo. It is an ES568
The Aura manual list the following codes under Thomson (TCL) 562, 561, 270, 261, 195, 193, 178, 173, 129, 114 No idea if they might work on an HDR-1100S remote but might be worth trying.

It’s an HDR-1100S
A quick google doesn’t show anything for a TCL 40-ES567? Plenty about a TCL 40-ES568.

I’m seriously thinking of sending it back.
I bought the Aura for the extra tuners and Freeview Play, but if there are constant problems, I really can’t be bothered.
My advice would be try it and see; you have got 7 days to make your mind up. I was a long term user of the HDR-FOX T2 and I prefer the Aura. There are several well known glitches which for me happen sufficiently infrequently that I can excuse them for the extra recording capability, speed of response, range of players, ability to download HD content and perfect synchronisation of sub-titles. It isn’t a perfect box but neither was the HDR-FOX T2 and the HDR-FOX T2 is getting long in the tooth and hardware problems are being reported more frequently.

I have a TCL 40-ES567 TV
I’ve tried synchronising my Humax remote with it using both codes provided in the user manual, to no avail.
Please can you tell us which Humax box you have?

I have an issue similar.
Not in the least bit similar in my opinion.
When the recorder is already recording a program but we decide to watch the recording from the beginning when the program ‘finishes’ the timer shuts down and we dont get to see the end.
The live content shuts down but the recording will have the ending and usually when you play the recording, selecting “Continue watching” will jump to the correct point in the recording.
Also is there any plans to allow remote recording via the internet at any time?
See this FAQ https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/remote-recording

A few weeks ago, they all started playing up: if you don’t set them to record anything, they’re fine – watch TV channels, YouTube, BBC i-Player, etc. If you set them to record anything, they’ll do so, and then freeze, with the red and blue lights on at the same time, and they go unresponsive to the handsets and buttons on the top-front of the machines. The only solution is to carry out a power-down/up reset, after which the machines become responsive to the handsets again, you can watch what you’ve recorded, and so on, until the next time they record a programme…. when they freeze. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The fact that the problem started at the same time on all three boxes suggests to me there is a common cause but it is hard to understand what it is. What happens if you have two of the machines powered down and make a recording on the third one (note this is intended as a solution but an experiment to try and better understand the problem)?

I have seen other posts relating to the disappearance of apps – from Neflix to iPlayer, but no answers. Since so many are interested, are there any answers to this common question please?
I don’t think there is a single answer that covers all the Humax boxes; which box do you have?

Just received an email from ITV confirming that the ITV Hub will no longer be available on the 4000/5000T from end September. This is disappointing since Humax, until very recently were selling refurbished units from their website.
They are still selling new units and claiming it supports ITV Hub.

I have retuned my 5000T to try to get Sky Arts, but it isn’t being found. Channel 11 is still Pick.
Turn off the Smart tune option and try tuning again.

Did I just make a dunderhead blunder in thinking a reset wouldn’t delete recordings?
Which reset did you do (Factory Reset or Freeview Reset)?

I can’t quite grasp why CH5 HD works and the others don’t. If it was all HD channels that didn’t work, that would make more sense but why just CH5 ?
CH5 HD is on frequency 110964MHz H. Can you get BBC4 HD which is also a Horizontal polarisation? If not have a look at https://en.satexpat.com/tv/uk/freesat/ and see if you can get any horizontally polarised channels.
