I tried the TV self diagnostics on the HDMI connection that’s 100% but the check sound diagnostics is greyed out,
I reconnected the T2 to the old TV that work OK with audio so what can I do to fix it.
On the Humax Menu button>Settings>Preferences what is “Digital Audio Output” set to? Does it help if you change it to the alternative setting?

The option to re-scan for Freeview channels is greyed out and therefore not available.
Was the box recording or within 15 minutes of the start of a recording? If so various options will be disabled for the duration of the recording. If it wasn’t then put the box into standby, wait for the hard drive to stop spinning and then turn off the power. Leave it off for 10 seconds and then restart the box and see if you can access the re-scan menu.

Another thing I & the wife find frustrating is the remote.
When we’ve recorded something, and play back, we do the usual of fast forwarding through the blessed adverts.
I prefer to skip through adverts rather than fast forward. There are no dedicated skip keys on the FVP models but it is easy enough to do using this FAQ https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/how-to-use-skip-function

Hi we have a humax PVR-9150T not sure how old it is but works ace, on our old tv, have just got a new hitachi smart tv can we connect it to that as we have loads recorded on it , please bear in mind , not very tech savvy
I think your options are to either use the composite sockets (assuming the TV has Composite inputs) with an RCA cable or to buy a SCART to HDMI converter.

I can’t view the Raydon enabled Foxsat HDR on my chromebook.
Do you mean you cannot access the Web Interface of the custom firmware for the FOXSAT? If so are you confident that you have the correct IP address?

FVP- 5000.
I’ve discovered a number ofmy recordings listed as “recording failed due to loss of power.”
Each recording is listed as 1 minute.
These recordings were fine, and we’ve had no power cuts.
Interesting. Can I confirm that you are saying that these were recordings that you have previously played successfully but are now listed as failed 1 minute recordings? Could you give a few examples of affected recordings (Channel, Date, time, programmes name)? There was a thread about this a few months ago but I don’t think any conclusion was reached but it certainly affects other people, not just you.

My scheduled, series linked, recording of the Christine Keeler drama last night stopped after one minute with no obvious error message. Programmes before and after recorded OK. Disk is not full. Did anyone else experience this? Is there an obvious explanation? Recorder is FVP5000T. Is it possible that the BBC sent the end of episode signal early?
My recording worked correctly on an FVP5000T. You might want to say which transmitter you are tuned to in case it is a local problem.

It’s a ”Toshiba 43UL5A63DB (2019) LED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, 43” with Freeview HD & Freeview Play”
I think your options are to either use the composite input sockets on the TV or to buy a SCART to HDMI converter or to buy a new PVR. Personally I would recommend the last option.

My phones 5ghz channel is 149. Not all devices are compatible with this channel.
Channel 149 is a Band C channel and these were only made generally available in 2017 so perhaps not surprising that not supported by the FVP WiFi module. There is a very detailed paper at http://bowdennetworks.co.uk/downloads/5GHz%20in%20the%20UK%20White%20Paper%20v3.0.pdf summarising the 5GHz Wifi situation in the UK. I certainly didn’t appreciate how complex a subject it is.

I don’t believe that there has been a 1.00.26 for the 9200T. The Humax site I think you are referring to only has 1.00.26 for the 9300T and the 9150T. There are some hardware differences which if you tried to use one of those would account for a 9200T not fully working when loaded with the 1.00.26 version for the other two models in the series.
I am very confident that 1.00.26 for a 9150T or 9300T would not be installed unless the file had been modified to match the expected signature for a 9200T (I know how to do it but I have been very careful not to publish the information) and if it has been loaded then the box would be bricked rather than unable to tune.
