    Hi

We have used a Humax 9300T for nearly 10 years before it gave up the ghost. Have recently purchased the FVP-400T and find it much more difficult to use with a rubbish User Manual.

The one thing now that I really miss and cannot find are the curved arrows (near bottom of old handset) which could take you forward in three clicks (programmable) through the adverts. I can only use the ‘fast forward/backward arrows on the new handset to perform this task. I find it very hit or miss and cannot understand the various speeds. I changed speed in the settings to highest number but you still have to press 4 or 5 times to speed it up and then watch very carefully for start of programme.

I can’t believe such a useful button/manoeuvre has been dropped – am I missing something on the new handset??

I am afraid LizMac 42,the 4000t is a button mad machine. It is obvious to me that the designers have never used the earlier models.

I agree with you disolar – its like using Windows 10 after Windows 7!

Barry – thank you so much for directing me to the FAQ’s and the answer. I tried it and it works – alleluia! no more ads.

Which skip forward time have you set for forward – not quite worked it out yet?? Thanks again from Lizx
