Yep, Sorry it’s me again.
Everything is now up and running, when I go to my network places, I see five icons for the foxsat. Now I thought that if I just dragged a video and pasted it into the video icon ,it would show on my foxsat hardrive.It appeared to go through the process of pasting in the files but there was nothing to show on the foxsat hardrive. Am I doing this all wrong?
You may recall that the Foxsat knows only .ts files (Transport stream) and anything else will need to be converted. Next it is necessary to create two sidecar files using AV2HDR (also does some format conversions) Download.
One of the sidecar files must contain the correct path to the file which will not be correct using drag and drop. The excellent ftp transfer built into AV2HDR will sort this out for you
