Just purchased a Humax HB100S HD from Amazon for my daughter, she is more than pleased with it and the catch up works fine connected to her router by Ethernet cable. She wants to buy and fit a small portable hard drive to the rear USB socket to record on occasions she is away.. Something about 1TB in size. I am not sure what to tell her to buy, as not a lot of help in instructions, seem to have read she will need one with separate power supply as Humax won’t power one, others say different. Whatever she buys it will be from Amazon. Any help advice appreciated.
