    The volume output from the above Humax is very low compared to my Sony Bravia when bravia is running on the TV channel and not on AV4 HDMI.

    Also the Sony seems to set the ratio and Humax moderates when using the remote volume switch and will never come up to perhaps half the TV channel.

    Any information greatfully received.

    Try

    Goto Menu/Settings/Preferences/Audio and turn Digital Audio Output to Stereo. Listen to the volume on the TV tuner, now listen the FOX and use the FOX remote control to set the volume as close as possible as the TV. After this use the TV volume to control the levels.
