Hi,
I bought a 1100S in December with 500GB storage. Overall I am satisfied with it.
The HDD is very noisy when booting the device and for about 5 or 10 minutes afterwards. I suspect the device needs to scan and process the recordings etc., which is perfectly OK.
However, what is clearly odd, is the clicking noise the drive makes. I have rarely heard a drive that noisy.
Anybody here sharing the same experience?

NB: after a few minutes the device is mostly silent. This is also the case when I play recordings (checked that with audio off).
HB 1100S does not have a HDD it is a set top box you can connect an external HDD to for recording purposes etc.
Did you mean HDR 1100S?
