Recently, whenever we view our TV via the Humax 9300T, the screen is covered with thin vertical silvery or red lines. It happens with both live and recorded programmes.
This NEVER happens when we view the TV direct.
What’s going on? And why won’t Humax reply or even acknowledge my emails?
Hi welcome to the forum. What you describe could be attributed to no end of problems not attributed to the 9300 at all.
Firstly you don’t say how your box is connected to the TV or what TV you have. Firstly is the box connected to the TV by a hdmi cable, if so, if you connect by a scart cable to scart socket on your TV that has RGB capability, do you have the same problem ?
Don’t be mesmorised by the hype about hdmi, the 9300 is a SD box, converting the RGB analogue output to digital may well be better handled by your TV. In most cases a SD box outputting over hdmi is purely a connection convenience. The problem may well be the TV not the box.
