I have a 9500T with a lot of sruff on some of which I would like to retain. My TV is getting old and I was looking to upgrade to a Samsung HD Smart TV with 3D playback (although I may not use the 3D, not having blueray). Will my Humax work with an HD TV?
If not can I retreive all my saved programmes?
The HD TV’s should also have scart sockets so your existing humax should still work using that (assuming you meant 9200t). 😉
Should you wish to retrieve your programmes there are a few different ways dependent on how comfortable you are with disassembling your humax. See the blog pages here (link) for some of the programs.
HumaxMediaController and Elinker do not require any disassembly/ modification whereas the rest rely on a direct connection to the drive (or USB-IDE) {applies to 9200t only}
