Hello all. I turned my Humax Fox-sat HDR on to be confronted by a screen which said “Searching for new channels and updates, please wait” after four hours nothing seems to have happened. The control would not do anything to to let me exit the screen, In the end I had to switch the box off at the mains. Can any one explain what is going on??

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried doing a factory reset if you are able to access settings menu? When did you last use your PVR, plus when did you last retune it? With regards remote, are batteries ok? Just trying to get a few clues to help you.

I thought a FOXSAT automatically retuned overnight?
