I don’t want to poke the bear… but does anyone have any news on the “big” update and when it might arrive?
12th of never is my guess!
My Sony TV recently updated to Android TV OS 12 (from 10, I think), I have not noticed any significant change. I expect that this big update is going to be a big letdown!
If its an android update it’s nothing to do with humax
They need to sort this crap out
over 2 years ago there was a post discussing the possibility of an update. just like the recent discussion of a month or so ago. various people had spoken to support and they confirmed there was an update coming. several high profile people also said it they had spoken to people at humax and looked like it was going to happen. when the update was due it never appeared, then it was announced by someone that had spoken to humax that it was being put back a quarter…sound familiar? the update never happened. what the rumours did accomplished i suspect was to stop people who had just bought a machine from returning it. i also don’t see the point in closing down a thread like this.which is what happened to the last discussion..if people are upset or want to discuss this topic, why not let them?
Totally agree with all the points raised by stinkypete67 .
The members who are “in the know” keep mentioning that updates are imminent – even the one who apparently knows a “senior Humax employee”!
But the advised update timelines just come and go.
I’ve now given up believing these comments and will just wait and see what happens .
