I have just bought an AKIRA television, & it is not mentioned in my old user manual. Maybe the codes are in the more modern manual.

Hi welcome to the site. I doubt it. The manuals are available on line here.

Could be worth checking the newer Freeview boxes, the remotes use the same codes.

The TV might just be a rebadged version of a basic design. Perhaps try Teknica or Vestel TV codes.

Sorry about the double post I have a habit of clicking reply rather than edit and not noticing :-)

    Thanks Graham,

I downloaded from the link you gave me, but they are all 3 digit numbers, & won’t register. The codes in my manual are all 4 digits, & I tried technica & vestel, to no avail.

    Cheers,

    Gerry

There are two variants of the remote some with 3 and some with 4 digit codes. Beyond this observation sorry can’t really help. Your choice of TV is not really mainstream. Try a internet search to see if you can find some background on the maker of your TV and see if it’s available from a more recognised brand. TV’s like these tend to come from the far east or Turkey and can appear with a variety of different badges.

FAQ in the T2 section has info on both 3 and 4 digit codes.

Agree with Graham almost certainly a rebadge, so it might be a matter of trying numerous manufacturers, Alba. Bush, Goodmans etc.
