InactiveHi chaps.. After several years with no problems, my Humax Foxsat-HDR will not automatically download channels.. I can do a Manual refresh which results in about 300+ channels but the same channels from all the different areas.. In the download menu the satellite is freesat 28.2E..I have a very strong signal and it seemingly recognises my Post Code..

ParticipantHi welcome to our forum.
What software does your box have installed ?
Is it left in standby overnight ?
Have you got a freesat channel on 818 ?

You have to download the .zip file linked to in my post and update using a usb memory stick and extract the files in it. Instructions are in the zip archive. A bit concerned you haven’t got 999, it’s on the Freesat home transponder. Can you use manual tune and check signal strength and quality on 11427 (could say 11428) H and post what you find ?
Everything starts with 5000 because you are in non-freesat mode. I take it there’s no STB mode option to switch back to freesat mode

You misunderstand, I just wanted to check you can get the transponder. If you could not then you would need to fix this before updating the software. What happens if you try a freesat tune (Menu – setup – freesat tune) ?
In settings have you got a STB mode option that you can change from Non-Freesat to Freesat ?

InactiveSorry..No downloads occur in Freesat tune and I can change from Non to Freesat but when I do change to Freesat mode I have no channels.
I have attached a jpeg of, what I think, is relevant BG
