InactiveHi,
I am running the latest software but had the problem before this anyway.
I’m using Windows 10 and nder the Media Devices I see FVP-4000T Media Server DMS.
Double clicking on this brings up Windows Media Player so I can’t download them using that.
However calling up the run box and typing in \x.x.x.x I can see the folder structure and the Recordings directory. From there I can download the .TS files – but for some time now NONE of them have played and I suspect that they are still encrypted.
I’m using Version 3 of VLC – but the latest version 2 didn’t work either. I also downloaded the Splash player and that just said invalid file format.
I upgraded from an old Fetch TV box to this and it was never this difficult to get playable files downloaded!
Are there any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong here or is this part of the software flakey?

InactiveThanks Barry – I had looked at that already
I have Windows 10 – it may display things differently under
Network. (?)
I don’t have a heading “Network Locations” but it is listed under Media Devices along with the ‘Media Renderer DMR’

InactiveThanks again Barry.
My screen definately looked different to yours.
Therefore I dug around a little and have now disabled Windows Media Player. This required a reboot but after that I now have the Media Server DMS listd under ‘Network Locations’ in file Explorer rather than being listed under “Media Devices” as previously. In fact the Media Devices heading has now disappeared.
Managed to download a file again and play it on the PC – Radio file converted to mp3 on copying.
So hopefully al sorted agan now.
Many thanks
