I have just realised that there is no “settings” option when I select the home button. Don’t know when this happened or why. Anybody experienced the same?
It’s now in the top right-hand corner of the screen. So pressing “up” will take you there.
That changed with the 1.01.11 software update.

Thanks for that! It’s not intuitive.
It’s fairly intuitive.
