    First time to this forum by virtue of a new Humax box (1010S 1TB) installed this week and I have encountered an unexpected problem.

    The unit has two separate satellite feeds and tonight whilst recording BBC One HD and watching Channel 4, when I went to change the live TV I received the following message “cannot change channel while recording”

    Some guidance would be appreciated.

    Are both channels showing good signals from the LMB.

    Check your recordings to see if it was in fact recording BOTH BBC1 & BBC1 HD. I found that exact problem, got the message you got and later discovered both versions were being recorded. Due I think to broadcaster CRID error.

    Thank you both for your replies – looks like its a cabling issue – an engineer has been booked.
