Start by telling us which model of Humax box you have purchased.

Welcome to the forums.
Someone might be along shortly to correct me, but I don’t think there is any way of getting any Humax to turn a TV off when the unit itself is turned off. Auto-turn on is a function of the TV not of the Humax, and I’ll be surprised if there are any TV models that turn themselves off when a signal input is lost.
A Harmony universal remote control will do what you want. It’s based on activities. For instance a watch 1100S activity will turn on all the kit you need and select the appropriate inputs at the touch of a single button. If you press the off button it will turn everything off. If you select a new activity it will turn off anything not used by that activity and turn on kit that the new activity uses.
