ParticipantHi welcome to the forum.
I only have a HD FOX T2 but the UI is nearly the same.
Menu/Settings/System/Internet Setting does it say network connected ?
If not choose configure LAN and choose DHCP.

If you have a laptop connect it to the homeplug by the hdr. Turn off the wireless connection. Can you still use the internet ?

Inactivehi sorry so long, i get a message on the laptop that there is an ip conflict address… not sure ?
July 14, 2012 at 1:30 pm #32755grahamlthompson
ParticipantSounds like you have two items using the same ip address. Go back to the hdr network setup and choose the configure option. Make a note of all settings. Change the option to manual. Enter all the numbers you noted but change the last three digits of the IP address you first noted after the last dot to say 220. Check you have the connected message and try the portal again.

Inactivehi, okay done that, connected okay, went to the green tv portal button , humax saying tv portal, but the tv still remains on a program ie bbc 1 have looked at my settings on my broadband, and they correspond with the ones on the tv settings, do not understand why it is not getting the portal…

ParticipantYou should be looking at a screen saying TV Portal. Presing the portal button should bring up on screen connecting message. Once loaded the current channel continues to play in a small window until you select a vod service say BBCi player. Do you not get this screen or the connecting message ?
What firmware version does diagnostics say you have ?

Inactivei get the connecting message but the screen is on full size off the current channel i will go and check the firmware and let you know

Latest version is 1.00.28. Your box should have updated automatically if you leave it in sby overnight and have access to the HD mux.
The update is ota now so if you have HD looking for the update should find it.
If not
