I’ve had a problem with two TV programmes conflicting – watching 1, and taping another. the problem started when i had to move the dish for some building works. The dish, LNB, and cables are all ok, but it appears one of the tuners has packed in. However, when I look at the OSD diagnostics, the tuner ‘appears’ to be fine – good signal etc. Is is possible I’ve somehow switched a tuner off, or isolated it?

Did you actually disconnect the LNB cables from the unit? if so, possible you may have not connected them back up correctly – ie the outer 2 sockets, not the middle one.
Failing that what does it state via:
Menu
Highlight Freesat tune and press RGYBGYB (ignoring the no entry on screen icon)
Antenna Setting
Connection Type.
