I’ve got some MPEG 2 TS files I’ve recovered from my previous set top box and I was wanting to make a reasonable space saving on them by re-encoding them and then to transfer them to the HDD.

I’ve used TSniper to trim the leads, tails and adverts. I’m starting to experiment with HandBrake, but I’m unsure how to treat the morphism and the “picture size” options for viewing.

I was wondering if anyone had any particular advice / experience in this regard. Recommendations gratefully received.
