As well as Barry’s answer, box not tuned correctly could produce this behaviour.
The programme was broadcast and the box is tuned in correctly, as far as I’m aware.
Sorry just realised I posted my question in the wrong place. OOps!
If it was the Impressions Show, it was replaced by a special edition of Panorama, hence no recording.
As I said the programme was broadcast. It was ‘The Choir’.
Hopefully, just a blip.
