Help! Suddenly when I use the remote it’s either not responding, slow responding or going mad. Eg. Press channel up and it rapidly scrolls through all the channels. Or, when I tried to forward a recording, it did nothing, then just fast forwarded through it!
We’ve turned off at plug & reset the remote (pressed power + red button til red light flashed 3 times.).
What’s going on? Is it the remote or the box?
I’m in a panic cos it’s the to that keeps me sane!
Before anyone replies with suggestions, can you confirm that you are talking about the Humax 4000T, not the BT Youview T4000.

Or to put the question to you in another way, which image does you recorder most look like (for the second image the colour may vary):

The first image is a T4000.
The second image is a 4000T.
The confusion is that you state that yours is a T4000 but you have posted in the 4000T section of this forum site.
Ah, and oh! Apologies….i did not realise there were two different ones. Assumed I’d just been writing it wrong.
Sigh…..
Ah, no, mine IS the second one. The humax freeview play. Am I in the right place then? And can anyone help me?
EDIT….it seems to be the box not the remote.
