I have a T1010 which will only boot as far as the screen which says PLEASE WAIT.Icontacted Humax help desk who sent instructions to enter maintenance mode, when i do this i can get as far as “Enter Maintenance mode?Y/N (Yes Press Power)” which i do,they tell me to wait for about a minite until the maintenance mode screen appears the box shuts down as they say it should but does not restart.
If it’s still under warranty, ring them back and ask for a replacement.
Obviously i would have done so if it was still under warranty
Not necessarily – you might reasonably have been hoping to keep the existing box rather than lose the recordings. But I acknowledge, my response was rather terse, for which I apologize. Afraid I have nothing more useful to suggest, sorry.
