Hi, I recently bought a fox t2,set up quick and intuitive.

I will be away from home for 3 weeks soon and would like to know if it would be prudent to switch off the power on the rear of the m/c. I am not concerned about recording programmes while i am away.

If you don’t want to record while you are away then why not, I would put the unit in standby before switching off.
