I have successfully programmed my YouView remote to control my Samsung TV.
It works fine for volume, etc, but if I try to switch the TV off, only the YouView switches off – not the actual TV.
YouView is on HDMI3. When I switch off, I just get ‘No signal’ rather than TV switching off. I have to use the Samsung remote to turn the TV off, which seems a bit silly.
Can I fully program my YouView remote so that I don’t need another one at all?
If multiple codes were listed for the TV try one of the others.

The code I used works perfectly well except for actually switching the set off. Would a different code make any difference, please?

Are you pressing the TV button on the YouView remote before trying to switch TV off?
There is nothing labelled TV on the remote. I have tried pressing the on/off button at the top. I have even tried pressing AD button with the Off switch.
I must be doing something wrong!
Think I’ve managed it with a new code!
