The Aura has been out for a couple years now. Still no Netflix; Now; or Britbox.

Who’s fault is this?? The app developer, or Humax ? Have they given up on the Aura, as there doesn’t seem to be a lot going on with it lately? Hope they haven’t….it’s such a great bit of kit….just not quite complete.

I’m somewhat saddened by the lack of drive or information. What is the chance of opening this device up for other developers?

Probably less than zero, I’m afraid. Humax haven’t allowed that since the old Foxsat HDR days.

I’m suprised that the Aura hasn’t been rooted and tweaked by someone.

What sort of features do users want?

It has been out since November 2020, so I make that 14 months.

The feature I miss most from my old Foxsat HDR is the ability to create folders, rename recording files and store content in user-created folders. I have a 2Tb Aura and, as I don’t tend to keep recordings once watched, practically all of that space will never get used. If I could file away HD programmes recorded on the Aura into an archive, then I would be able to re-watch them at a later date.
