Hi I have a issue with my Humax 4000t when I switch it on the Humax screen appears but does not go on to the second stage, pause for 15 seconds or so than restarts over and over. Anyone experience this problem? If so how did you fix it ? Thanks

Hi I have a issue with my Humax 4000t when I switch it on the Humax screen appears but does not go on to the second stage, pause for 15 seconds or so than restarts over and over.
The first thing I would try (as a diagnostic) is to open the Humax up and disconnect the hard. If the box will then boot up properly it suggests the issue is with the hard drive.
Thanks I have already taken the HDD out no difference , I have found the output Centre terminal on the aerial feed to the tv is missing, after removing the top inside on the main board I found the other half of the Center going to the board touching the frame so linking out to earth ? Could this be causing the problem ?
