Hi, Just recently I no longer get sound from my unit via a sound bar unless it is an HD channel. I have checked all non FOXSAT HDR sources such as Freeview via TV and Netfix through TV, my ROKU stick and all all works fine. Any thoughts please?
First thing to check is the volume level using the Humax remote, turn up to maximum,
100%.You will then have to use the sound bar/TV volume controls to adjust. Leave the Humax volume at 100%.
If this is not successful , go into the Humax menu, go to TV setup , scroll down to Audio and change to Stereo. This should give you your sound back.
Many thanks! Your advice worked. Just debating if I should challenge the other half for playing about with the various controllers for the volume, she has never understood things.
Now you know the answer don’t say any thing, or put a piece of masking tape on volume control with NO on it!
