Hello guys, I’m a new member. I have a FOXSAT-HDR connected to TV by scart (it’s an old TV, no HDMI). For the last two days (since August 27th) I’ve been getting a “not available” error when trying to access some Freesat channels, including Food Network, Quest Red, HGTV. Many other channels like BBC, ITV, Quest HD work fine. After a bit of searching I read that the problem is likely due to a “mux change” which happened on the 27th and affected those channels among others. Can the problem be fixed by updating the firmware? If so, I don’t know how to do that. Diagnostics screen says the last update was 2012. I’m not very techy, so all help appreciated! I’m in East Sussex UK.

PS: I did a manual re-scan of all channels but it didn’t help. I also tried unplugging and rebooting.

The usual solution to this is to restore the channels by removing them from the channel list and then performing a Freesat tune.

From your description you just attempted to retune without first removing the offending channels from the channel list.

Here is a link to someone who has done this on this occasion who was also losing the same channels, and it worked for them.
