Barry
ModeratorAs this version has been mentioned in a few unrelated threads, new thread for discussions:
1. Will be available as an OTA from Weds 27 June to Fri 29 June, and repeated from Fri 6 July
2. Should be made available as a download prior to this.
Note:
The IPTV channels are not enabled, and my advice to delete them still stands.

InactiveIs there a definitive answer from humax as to whether the IPTV channels will eventually be enabled on the HD/HDR T2? We seem to be in a state of limbo..

Inactive1.02.28 loads OK and compared with .27 they have fixed the problem introduced in that beta release whereby there was a delay (Humax say 10s) between the broadcast TV picture appearing and being able to use various buttons on the remote control. With .28, once you are out of standby and the broadcast is running, then “Guide” and “Media”, for example, are live right away.
I believe there was a problem with YouTube in .27 (never tried it myself), but tried it in .28 and things seem to work OK, but I leave it to others to verify this matter.

InactiveBarry – can you or others just confirm the action of an HDR Fox T2 on .28 already when an OTA happens. Is it ignored or re-installed?
Thanks

ModeratorTrevor – It will be ignored.

InactiveI have just put firmware version FHTCP1.02.28Loader version on a usb stick but the Humax fails to see it and upgrade…

InactiveHere are some general notes for USB upgrade problems :-
Ensure no other USB devices are connected
Do not use a USB extender cable
Removing all other files / re-formatting can prevent file fragmentation
Try both USB ports (HDR)
As a last resort, try a different USB Flash Drive

ParticipantMy OH’s HDR on .27 is not finding the update. Heathfield transmitter.
Any ideas why?

InactiveJust updated my Humax HDR FOX T2 OTA to 1.02.28 box seems to be working OK and yes Barry it was painfully slow must have taken best part of an hour.
