I have two FVT4000 units (I know, I have arrived in life). One of them had issues with iPlayer (doesn’t play back smoothly), then wouldn’t clear the TV guide, ever. In order to get it to work again after a few resets, I loaded the latest software available on Humax’s site onto it. This is 1.03.53. Now Netflix doesn’t work either
When I boot it up it says that there is new software 1.03.54 available to download, but it fails to download it. Does anyone know where I can download it from the web onto a USB? Thanks!
If you have not already, it might be worth disconnecting the 4000T from the mains for a few minutes to force a full reboot (not just switching to standby) and then trying the update again once it has settled down.
1.03.54 is the current version and was released last May.
Thank you. I’ve tried this. No joy. In fact VOD is rubbish on the other box too. Are these units just SO out of date?
Any ideas why the latest software isn’t available on Humax’s site?
