Inactivethere are so soooo many faults with the aura, many of which are the same as it’s predecessor, and humax know about them all.
picking just 2 to address here for the moment,
the aura is repeatedly doing a massive recording, sometimes over 15hours, of a channel nothing was set on, without ever showing it in the recording schedule, and you can not stop it once it’s started, and consequently this crashes/stops recordings that were set.
also the guide and schedule pages on https://www.myhumax.net/ are not working

InactiveIf you find the Aura has started a recording and it has over ran with no indication it is going to stop, just pull the plug on it.
Wait a few minutes and restart the Aura, then delete the over ran recording.

Let the other recordings complete and then pull the plug on the Aura to force stop the over ran recording.
Leave for a minute or two before reconnecting.
Your recordings and recording schedule will be preserved.
Delete the over ran recording.

and as you can see, it’s not an “overrunning recording”, no recordings were set on the channel.
and obviously when this happens during the night or when one is not around one can not simply pull the plug, which as also said would stop the other things it’s doing.

InactiveSo your Aura starts recording without a recording being scheduled, that’s a new one on me.
My Aura on occasion has failed to stop recording at the end of a programme and continued for hours,
and the only way to stop it was to pull the plug.
If the Aura is starting recordings without them being scheduled it needs repaired, is it still under warranty.

So your Aura starts recording without a recording being scheduled, that’s a new one on me.
On rare occasions I have seen this problem but in my case the recordings stop at the scheduled end time.

I can see that it shows an hour difference online, but the timers are correct in the App and on the Aura. I have never used this online feature except to register the Aura when I first got it.

InactiveAs you can see mine is working OK.
Have you tried deleting your machine and re-adding it?

Inactivethanks but humax always says to do things like that or a factory reset (which of course people have already tried or are asking because they’re trying to avoid doing such things), never do they deal with why the things constantly happen in the 1st place especially given lots of people are having these issues. thanks anyway, appreciate your time.

InactiveIt seems there are good Auras and bad ones, luckily I have a good one and rarely have an issue, if I do its minor one and can be sorted out with a Freeview reset that only take a few minutes, especially if you backup your settings.
Removing the device from myhumax.net net and re-adding takes no time at all and you do not lose anything. Even doing a factory reset doesn’t not lose recordings unless you specifically select that option.
