signal problem

    i can pick up 170 plus channels, icluding bbc, ch4 and 5, itv etc but cant get a freesat signal? any ideas?

    Hi welcome to the forum.

    Usual reason is dish alignment. The freesat epg comes from Eutelsat28A at 28.5E (0.3 degrees from the main channels from Astra at 28.2E).

    Using manual tune check what you have in signal and quality using manual tune and selecting 11427 H from the transponder list.

    hi i only have 11426v or 11428h on my transponder list

    It’s 11428 H, for some reason due to rounding on some boxes (including mine) it says 11427 H.

    KOS has it as 11426 H :-)
