I have a humax 2000t 18 months old , when I go on to settings the box goes to loading and freezes so i cannot reset the box can anyone help

You have posted your question in the Youview section but mention a 2000T. Is it a feeview HDR-2000T or a Youview box, perhaps a DTR-T2000?
If it’s a Youview box then the various resets are available on the maintenance menu, there is no need to access the settings menu.
