I returned from holiday last Friday 17 May after being away since 1st May to find nothing had been recorded after 7th May and have no reason why

When I switched on I did notice a few of things – there were very few programmes listed in the TV guide beyond current programmes, there was nothing in the planned recording list and the box (1tb) was at 40% full.

I managed to reset the box and the TV guide and planned recordings reappeared and it has worked fine since.

Any ideas what might have been the problem?
